We chose the name Eclectic Match because we wanted to work with a lot of different elements that are in great contrast to each other but nevertheless can work toghether. The inspiration for me was haute couture fashion shows. Whenever I watch them I enjoy the fact that they are about vision and feelings. I had wanted for quite some time to create such a semi-real interior. This intention was accelarated by my meeting Jerry Chen in Shanghai. Jerry specialises in asian antiques. He showed me a world that I until then had not known. Jerry came to Prague in July, and at that time we agreed to put an exhibition together.
My wish is to have our semi-real interior act as a stimulus for feelings that a person can experience in an interior under very special circumstances. Our installation should tell a story of emotions, spatial possibilities, and connections between apparently incompatible elements.
